Note: Both undergraduate and graduate students who are looking to do an internship with St.Complete the Online Internship Orientation Workshop video and quiz found on the Career Services website (see instructions below).Background check must be completed through CastleBranch, see instructions below. *Email these documents to the Undergraduate Internship Coordinator, Kevin Blume for KINES 293 and 493, or to the Graduate Internship Coordinator, Tina Freeman for KINES 590, before submitting your application.Students who intern with Boise State Athletics will undergo a background check through the Athletics Department and are required to pass in order to participate in their internship. *Pass a background check through the background check company CastleBranch, if required by the internship agency/organization.The online course certificate is insufficient. *Provide a current CPR/AED certification card (American Red Cross or American Heart Association accredited) *NOTE: If you choose the American Red Cross Online CPR/AED course, you will also need to complete an ensuing in-person skills session within 90 days to receive your certification.*Provide a current unofficial transcript.FOR KINES 293 enrollment: Freshman or Sophomore standing OR second internship for students with the ‘Human Performance and Exercise Science’ Emphasis and PERM/INST.FOR KINES 493 enrollment: Junior standing (at least 90 credits) and PERM/INST.In order for your internship application to be approved, you must provide/meet the following criteria: NOTE: Applications for Spring 2024 are due Friday, December 8th 2023
